It's nice here. Quite. Peacefull. Owls whooting, racoon stealing your food at night, fishing . Great place to get away.

Wonderful, quiet campground. Great location for swimming and water sports. Extremely helpful host.

We really enjoyed the stay here. The park is very pretty, lots of trees and shade as well as plenty of shoreline. My only complaints are that it needs better water hookups as we had over 250ft of hose to reach the nearest faucet. Also the bath houses are pretty dated, although they were cleaned well. Some of the campsites are small, but there isn't much of a way to change that. There are larger ones available in the park and some that are right on the water look super nice. We will definitely be back, but we'll make sure we pick a site a little closer to a water hookup.

View is beautiful. I went there in December and the place was very windy, bathrooms were closed.

Use plenty of bug spray and check yourself and your dogs for ticks. You want the bug spray for the chiggers though. Love the trail but it's not worth two weeks of itching by going out unprotected. We had the trail to ourselves, it makes a nice peaceful getaway in the woods. And it's out of the sun so it's good on a hot day.

The Bench Rock Nature Trail is part of the Indian Creek public use area. It is a 1.3 mile loop. It's beautiful and features a Native American dwelling. Trail head is just before you get to the gate house for Indian Creek Park. Use caution on the upper part of the trail, it comes very close to the edge of a steep cliff in places. The trail is a loop, but if you have young children I'd recommend doing an out and back on the lower half of the loop. That's where the cliff dwelling is at and the trail there is an abandoned road. You can see Beaver Lake from the trail.
