Very awesome historical site. You can tour the inside and watch a movie about Pea Ridge all for free. If you want to drive through it will cost you $15. per car but it is definitely worth it.
Spend time at the museum; it has plenty of real, recovered items from the battlefield and teaches you about each one. The displays are also interactive and very high quality. Every 45 minutes or so they show a short documentary/reenactment about the battle in the small theater within the museum. Watch it! (It's not that cheesy) highly recommend coming here and great for kids/groups.
Beautiful park. Lots of places to walk and explore nature. Great for bikes on the ~7 mile tour road. Will need more friends as NW AR continues to grow.
Interesting history here! I suggest reading about it a but before going to fully appreciate the experience. Has walking and biking trails around the battlefield. The park itself is very large.
Awesome park. Best of all, it is often not busy. I love to drive up to the ridge on drizzly days and watch the deer come out and graze in the fields below.
The rangers are so friendly and knowledgeable. The museum was well laid out and so interesting! I learned a lot. The drive around the park was fascinating. Take your time driving the perimeter of the park. Walk on the trails and enjoy the wildlife. This park is well worth our time.
